Great tutorial, very well written and published. I have a question, is there a way to add custom terrain to the floor, terrain and sky using a heightmap file with Jiglib and Papervision? I seem to be having issues with that, and would I probably resort to just using the ground and plane's?

Hey Mike,

Do you perhaps know how to tween rotation/translation in 3D with Tweener using the Matrix3D's appendRotation/appendTranslation properties? If we could do that you could animate some of the more simpler 3D transformations in straight Flash/Flex without papervision (carousel galleries, etc.) without using all of Papervision. Thanks so much, this stuff is a little over my head :).

Stoked to check out your book!

I definitely agree with you - an ebook would be great - that wasn't an option here, but definitely something I will consider in the future...

Thanks for your comment

I would go for an ebook as well if it were available! I often will buy both and seeing as this is the second papervision book available i would expect there to be a demand. I've done several PV courses but none of them come with any kind of docs - it's always hard to remember everything from a course! Plus an e-book is great when you're coding for different companies and need a quick refresher. I know Seb D has a book on the way so i would also expect more uk devs to buy that given the choice (nothing personal - he's just the face you know and trust plus it's what he does for work - BBC Big & Small etc). If you get an ebook out in advance you might still catch the peak demand. just thinking out loud!
